Writing Topics: "A Helpful Person I've Met"

Today's writing topic is called "A Helpful Person I've Met." So here we go.

We were at The Velvet Dog and I had a beer or two (or three) in me and so I had to go to the bathroom. So, as I walked in to do my business. As I walked over to the sink, I saw this very friendly, non-english speaking Mexican man standing next to the sink leaning against the wall. I shrugged it off, as we were in downtown Cleveland, and well, I had been drinking. But, as I reached down to wash my hands, he quickly reached in front of me and turned the water on, and then squirted soap into my hands. I looked at him strangely, because - that just isn't a normal happening in the mens bathroom in a bar, but it was a "Cleveland" bar, so who knows. So, I washed my hands, and he handed me some hand towels. But, not just one hand towel. Two... which was the exact amount that I needed.

Totally a helpful person. Creepy. But helpful. I thanked him and left. The next time I went in, I saw that he was actually working there and was collecting tips. It was like he appeared out of no where with soap and love. Mmmm.
